May Chamber Luncheon - MORPC Strategic Plan
William Murdock, Executive Director of the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission, will provide an update on the strategic planning efforts underway to prepare for the anticipated growth in Central Ohio. The most recent modeling projections of 3.15 million for the 15-county region represents a slight uptick from previous projections. Over the next 25 years, the Central Ohio region will see a growth of 726,000 people, which equates to 272,000 additional households and 357,000 additional workers. ABOUT MORPC
MORPC is Central Ohio’s regional council of 83 members comprised of counties, cities, villages, townships, and regional organizations. We take pride in bringing communities of all sizes and interests together to collaborate on best practices and plan for the future of our growing region. We do this through a variety of programs, services, projects, and initiatives that help improve the quality of life for everyone in the Central Ohio region.
