Production Team Lead - West Jefferson, OH.

West Jefferson Company is looking for a Production Team Lead. The ideal candidate is career-oriented, punctual, and has a reliable work history without significant job-hopping or gaps.

Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday: 2:30 PM - 1:00 AM
• Overtime may be required, including Saturdays.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direction and leadership to employees in the Threading, CNC, and Bending departments.
• Maintain records, take inventory, and prepare required reports.
• Perform quality assurance inspections, measure parts, and reference parts drawings.
• Ensure production standards are met on all machines.
• Experience with Landis Pipe Threader Machines or Pipe Bending Machines is a plus.
• Train new, transferred, or less experienced employees.
• Load and unload trucks as needed.
• Process orders.
• Conduct quality inspections.

Required Skills:

• Forklift operation experience.
• Proficiency in machine operation.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret set drawings while performing tool changes.
• Strong math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and the ability to read a tape measure, including working with fractions and degrees.
• Computer literacy.
• Experience in machine setup is an asset.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in various positions while changing tools/dies and operating equipment.
• Capacity to lift up to 100 pounds while standing, walking, and working on equipment.
