First Responders Park - Rededication Ceremony

Join us at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 11 as we honor the legacy of the heroes who gave all 24 years ago and renew our commitment to never forget. A few details: 🔹The ceremony itself will be held at Hilliard's Station Park, just across the street 🔹Tours of the restored park will follow the ceremony 🔹Keynote remarks will be provided by Ohio Lt. Governor Jim Tressel 

Note: The ceremony will pause for a ceremonial ringing of the bell to commemorate the times of the attack: 8:46 a.m., 9:03 a.m., 9:37 a.m., and 10:07 a.m.

Located in the center of Downtown Hilliard at the corner of Center and Main streets, First Responders Park is local monument built for a national impact. The park contains original artifacts from sites in New York City including a portion of subway rail and twisted beams of steel from ground zero. The park is meant to be a place to visit, to mourn, and to remember those who give their lives to protect those in their community.
