Lunch and Learn: Workplace Violence and Situational Awareness - 

Learn to recognize workplace violence, apply the SAFE approach and de-escalate, and respond, report and document incidents.

This training equips participants to recognize, prevent, and respond to violence in the workplace. You’ll learn to identify the types, forms, causes, and early warning signs of violence, de-escalate tense situations using the SAFE approach, and stay alert through situational awareness. 

The course also covers responding to an active shooter, supporting coworkers affected by domestic violence or a mental health crisis, handling reasonable-suspicion situations, and reporting and documenting incidents properly. By the end, you’ll be prepared to help keep yourself and your coworkers safe.
