Lead daily baking operations: breads, pastries, donuts, and more
Follow established production methods and maintain organized workflow
Prepare creams, fillings, icings, and toppings from scratch or components
Manage daily production plans and workflows to meet café demand
Set daily prep goals; adjust workflow based on café volume and needs
Assign appropriate daily tasks to team members based on skill level, production priorities, and café volume - Coach the bake team on prep, timing, quality, and efficiency
Adapt production schedules and product quantities as needed based on day-to-day sales trends, weather, or staffing levels
Oversee reservation and pre-order processes to ensure accurate planning and timely fulfillment
Maintain clean, organized, and food safe Back of House stations
Receive, stock, and organize ingredients and supplies efficiently
Collaborate with café management to balance food cost and labor
Monitor equipment and ingredient inventory, notifying supervisors timely of any issues or shortages
Manage time effectively to complete all assigned tasks
Monitor product quality and consistency—because details matter
Complete waste logs, production sheets, or prep reports, as required
Train and onboard new bakers with clarity and support
Communicate proactively with management to align on production goals and resolve operational issues efficiently
Adapt to other bakery tasks as needed (we’re all one team!)
Support café operations and pitch in where needed—team first always
Perform other duties as assigned to support the team
