Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience, with a preference for experience in a senior management role within a nonprofit organization.
- Demonstrated success in fundraising, including securing major gifts, grants, and leading successful campaigns.
- Proven experience in strategic planning, financial management, and program oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership & Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement a clear strategic vision and multi-year plan in collaboration with the Board of Directors, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and values.
- Provide inspirational leadership to staff, volunteers, and stakeholders, fostering a positive, collaborative, and results-oriented culture.
- Represent the organization as its primary spokesperson, building strong relationships with community leaders, funders, partners, and the public.
2. Fundraising & Development:
- Drive all fundraising efforts, including identifying, cultivating, and stewarding major donors, foundations, corporate partners, churches, schools, individuals and grants.
- Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive fundraising strategy to ensure the long-term financial health and growth of the organization.
- Actively participate in grant writing, donor meetings, and fundraising events.
3. Community Engagement & Advocacy:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community organizations, government agencies, schools, businesses, churches, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Act as an advocate for the organization's mission and the populations it serves.
- Increase the visibility and positive public image of One Dublin.
4. Marketing and Social Media:
- Oversee marketing and communications efforts, including social media, newsletters, email campaigns, the creation of collateral materials, and event management.
5. Program Oversight & Evaluation:
- Oversee the effective planning, implementation, and evaluation of all programs and services, ensuring they meet the needs of the community and achieve measurable outcomes.
- Promote program innovation and continuous improvement.
- Ensure program delivery aligns with the organization's mission and strategic goals.
6. Financial Management:
- Ensure sound financial management by supporting the Treasurer in the development and oversight of the annual budget and financial reporting.
- Work closely with the Treasurer to maintain strong fiscal controls and ensure the organization operates within its financial means.
- Identify opportunities for revenue generation and cost efficiencies.
7. Board Relations:
- Serve as the primary liaison between staff and the Board of Directors, keeping the Board fully informed of the organization's health and progress.
- Support the Board in its governance role, including strategic planning, policy development, and fundraising.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between the Board and staff.
8. Operations & Administration:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization, ensuring efficient and effective administrative processes.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
- Manage facilities, technology, and other resources to support organizational goals.
This is a full-time position with a flexible hybrid schedule that includes some evening and weekend availability. The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000, commensurate with experience.
